As the Senior Regional Sales Consultant you will be responsible to enhance Life insurance product sales within your assigned region. You will train, coach, motivate and support various distribution channels and business units in developing plans to achieve sales targets.
How you will create impact:
- Promoting a full range of Life Insurance solutions to Advisors and Managing General Agent (MGA) partners.
- Providing proactive sales and business building ideas, understanding Advisor goals, and aligning their needs with our insurance solutions.
- Managing sales growth and fostering positive business relationships within the defined region.
- Monitoring and measuring competitive products, processes, technology, and marketing tools to fulfill the needs of Advisor clients and recommending changes to improve sales and service practices.
- Participating in seminars, trade shows and meetings to enhance awareness of CUMIS Life products, including staying current with industry trends, product changes and Credit Union markets.

To join our team:
- You have five years of experience in Life insurance sales.
- You have a post-secondary diploma in a related field.
- You have a Life license and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation(s). Having the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate is an asset.
- You have expert knowledge of the Life insurance industry and Life insurance sales products.
- Having a strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of investments, trusts, capital markets and retirement and benefits plans is an asset. Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected Salary Range: $79,954 - $133,257

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
