Job Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that our field technicians have the right parts at the right time to keep projects on schedule. The position manages the inventory and procurement of small parts required for elevator service and repair jobs. They act as the central point of contact for incoming part requests from field technicians and ensure they are triaged, fulfilled, and processed immediately and accurately. Given the time-sensitive nature of these requests, especially when devices are out of service, responsiveness, attention to detail, and system accuracy are essential.

The Inventory Control Coordinator also assists with day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving deliveries, organizing inventory, and helping maintain a clean and functional workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse inventory system, fully responsible to own the management of our inventory system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records , update stock levels in real-time, and conduct regular audits. Ensure all transactions and documentation comply with internal procedures and safety standards.
  • Monitor and triage incoming part requests from field personnel via email and/or internal systems, prioritizing urgent, time-sensitive needs.
  • Process and fulfill orders immediately using our inventory management system to ensure timely delivery to job sites.
  • Procure parts and materials as needed, coordinating with suppliers and tracking order statuses to avoid delays.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual inventory counts to ensure accurate control of stock.
  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries , on an as needed basis ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
  • Assist in general warehouse tasks as needed, including organizing stock and preparing materials for job dispatch.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory coordination, procurement, or warehouse operations (preferably in construction, mechanical, or service industries).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient with inventory management systems and comfortable working with technology.
  • Reliable and responsive—must be able to monitor and respond to requests in real time during working hours.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
  • Forklift license is an asset.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and assist in warehouse duties as needed.
