We are looking for a Manager, Information Technology to join our team!
Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Technology Services, the Manager, Information Technology provides operational leadership for the planning, development, implementation, and support of information technology systems and services. This role ensures the secure, efficient, and compliant operation of IT infrastructure and applications that support clinical, administrative, and operational functions across CMHA Peel Dufferin.
Status: Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility to support after hours, including evening and weekends, requests is required). Note, this posting is for an active vacancy
Salary: $90,419.82-$106,376.25 annually. (Candidate qualifications will be considered when determining the starting salary)
Location: This position is generally based out of our 314-7700 Hurontario, Brampton office. Although we operate within a hybrid workplace model, staff are required to have on-site presence as per organizational/departmental needs (minimum 2 days per week).
What You Will Do:

Work with the Associate Director in the development of the IT strategic plan including identifying and recommending information technology and information management business requirements and enhancements
-
Manage the infrastructure, systems, services, policies and processes to meet the information technology and information management needs of the CMHA Peel Dufferin Branch including IT and voice/telecommunications set up, maintenance, technical support and problem resolution; systems security and disaster recovery; and IT procedures and documentation
-
Develop and maintain the IT risk management and security plan, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure systems security and confidentiality of information systems and client data, and uninterrupted operation of computer-based application systems in accordance with organizational policies and relevant legislation
-
Lead the implementation of modern technologies including cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams), emerging technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) and secure remote access solutions.
-
Develop and maintain IT security procedures and risk management plans to ensure compliance with PHIPA and other relevant legislation, and applicable security frameworks.

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, endpoints, and telecommunications systems
-
Lead the IT support team in providing responsive technical support and issue resolution
-
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline IT operations, enhance service delivery, and optimize resource utilization
-
Support the development of operational budgets by identifying financial and human resource requirements to support delivery of IT services and monitors assigned budget and expenditures in accordance with organizational financial policies.

What You Need to Join Our Team:

Completion of post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant discipline

Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified (Azure/M365), PMP, CCNA, or security certifications are assets
-
A minimum of 5 years of progressive IT experience
-
Minimum of 3 years of recent formal or informal IT management leadership experience, including supervising a staff and day to day operations
-
Experience in the implementation and support of Microsoft’s cloud-based infrastructure, IAM systems, MS365 tools, LAN/WAN infrastructure and telecommunication systems
-
Experience in technical writing for documentation such as IT policies and procedures and disaster recovery plans is an asset
-
Experience in healthcare IT environments and familiarity with clinical systems and PHIPA compliance
-
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure configuration and administration and network administration
-
Strong knowledge of process automation using tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, or equivalent platforms.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to approach, listen, build trust, and communicate across diverse cultures and intersectionality. Willingness to continually improve understanding around cultural competence.

Openness to operate from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and intersectional framework.

Willingness to learn and apply practical understanding of different elements of diversity, such as gender identity/expression, race/cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, disability, immigration and precarious status, family status, etc.

Fluency in a second language, including ASL (American Sign Language) is considered an asset.

Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to an insured automobile in good repair
