The business analyst is responsible for configuring the internal software solution, as well as analyzing and resolving common issues experienced by clients following implementation. They will receive guidance from implementation managers as needed, but must be able to establish priorities and resolve problems independently or as part of a team.

Through our multiple implementation projects for new clients across North America, the opportunity to learn an impressive range of calculation types will be made available to you. To succeed, the business analyst must be able to effectively manage problem resolution by providing clear explanations of issues and a path to their resolution; they must also possess strong skills in technology, communication, and problem-solving.
What you'll do:
- Perform detailed analysis of our clients' pension plan calculation rules
- Act as the link between the client and the project team in terms of pension plan calculations
- Configure Ariel software to suit the specifics of the client's pension plan
- Write specifications according to the needs and requests of the clients regarding new developments of the Ariel software
- Ensure the proper integration of the Ariel software with other software that will be implemented for the client
- Participate in the development of the specific testing strategy for Ariel software configuration and new developments
- Participate in the review of test scenarios with the selection criteria required by the plan
- Provide support to the quality assurance team
- Collaborate in the development of the Ariel software by providing suggestions for improvement to the responsible team
What you bring:
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an appropriate field
- Experience in pension plans calculations
- Ability to understand and use current computer technologies and a good knowledge of Excel software
- Recognized, among other things, for analytical and summarizing skills, sense of organization and flexibility in terms of managing multiple projects
- Good initiative and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Ability to establish priorities and meet timelines
- Available to travel occasionally (Canada, US)
- Fluency in both French and English
