ATCO Gas operates systems that transport natural gas across Alberta, delivering it everywhere from small towns to large industrial sites. Engineering work is completed to build and maintain this natural gas system.
Who you are:
- Are you an ambitious and motivated student who thrives in an environment powered by entrepreneurial spirit and an inspired vision for the future? We want you as our ATCO Gas Technology Co-op Student!
- Enrolled in an undergraduate co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
- Have Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.
What you get to do: The Co-op Student will support the Technology Intake team by contributing to business analysis governance, process alignment, and community engagement. This role offers hands-on experience in managing digital repositories, maintaining dashboards, and supporting governance and process standardization across the intake-to-delivery lifecycle.
Business Analysis Governance Support
- Manage and maintain SharePoint content and repositories.
- Update and monitor business analysis workload dashboards.
- Track and organize deliverables and templates to ensure accessibility and compliance.
Intake-to-Delivery Alignment
- Maintain stakeholder repositories and Intake transition package data.
- Update action and variance logs to enhance visibility across project stages.
Community of Practice (CoP) & Governance Logistics
- Schedule CoP sessions and prepare resource materials.
- Capture meeting notes and action items.
- Support adoption of standardized methodologies and processes.
Process Governance Activities
- Organize and maintain iGrafx models and repositories.
- Apply naming conventions and perform first-pass quality checks on documentation and templates.
