About the role

Procurement Coordinator - Civil Construction

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for a Procurement Coordinator to join our Civil construction division in Mississauga, Ontario.

The Procurement Coordinator supports the successful delivery of construction projects by managing the sourcing, evaluation, and coordination of materials and subcontracted services. This role works closely with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure procurement activities align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines, while fostering strong industry relationships and driving value.

In doing so, you will be involved in:

Evaluate tendered quotes against specifications and drawings Assist in preparing purchase orders and subcontract agreements Assist in negotiations with vendors and subcontractors Develop successful relationships with vendors and subcontractors Track status of purchase orders and subcontracts Attending project meetings to provide procurement updates

Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum 1 year or more experience in a coordinator type or role in the construction industry A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or a combination of education and industry experience Understanding of construction specifications and drawings. Experience working on water / wastewater projects is considered a strong asset.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / Year (depending on experience)
