We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

General Description:

This opportunity to work in an organization making a difference to the environment will allow the successful candidate to assist the Logistics Manager and Shipping/Receiving team with daily shipping activities.

You will work cohesively with the Logistic Manager and Client Services preparing/planning shipments and completing paperwork for domestic and international shipping. The logistics coordinator will also assist the Manager to arrange the transportation of inbound and outbound shipments including negotiation of freight rates and will interact with freight forwarders, third-party warehousing and transportation companies.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

· Post-Secondary education in business or supply chain management with experience in international logistics and/or international trade is ideal.

· Accepting Resumes from Recent Grads of the Supply Chain Management and/or 1-2 years experience in the logistics industry with working knowledge of current international trade, export regulations procedures, and a willingness to continue education in this discipline as necessary

· Knowledge with Load boards (LoadLink)

· Knowledge with Route Optimization Software

· Excellent Administrative/Microsoft office/MRP skills

· Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
