Position Overview
As we mature our analytics strategy and implementation across the Fusion Platform, there is a need to develop deep dive product usage analysis to inform analytics practices across the platform. This will include navigating and collaborating with a variety of domain specific teams that comprise the Fusion platform and using strong SQL querying skills to aggregate and develop strong and compelling insights. The intent of this analysis is to inform analytics practices, including identifying closing critical gaps to unlock deeper and more complete platform analytics. This project will require strong SQL, data visualization, and ideally large database skills and will expose interns to a complex production analytics environment.
Responsibilities
- Data collection and sourcing: Gathering data from multiple sources including databases, surveys, web analytics, and APIs
- Data cleaning and preparation: Identifying and correcting errors, removing duplicates, and formatting data for analysis
- Statistical analysis: Conducting actionable, statistically-sound analyses and research to identify significant business trends
- Data visualization: Creating intuitive charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders with a focus on high business impact
- Report generation: Developing comprehensive reports summarizing key findings and actionable insights
- Collaboration: Working with different teams to understand their data needs and develop data-driven stories to translate findings into actionable business strategies
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong SQL querying skills
- Large database querying
- Experience creating easy to understand data visualization
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative or related field
- Data visualization in enterprise tools (Power BI, Looker)
- SQL in cloud data warehouse environment
About the Canada Internship Program
The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (January 5th – April 24th or May 4th – August 21st). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
