**SUMMARY –**Forklift Operator; Part - Time

***Shift:***Saturday and Sunday (08:00 AM- 04:00 PM)

TransX has an exciting opportunity for aForklift Operatorto join our Dock team in the New Westminister Terminal. We are looking for an individual that is strong, active, and possesses a solid work ethic.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate counter balance forklift safely and effectively
• Previous unloading and loading of multi temp trailers an asset.
• Other general labor duties such as stacking, wrapping and warehouse cleaning
• Ability to read and understand BOL's and order documentation

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education

• Forklift certificate, WHMIS, TDG certifications
• Must have completed high school or equivalent.

Experience

• Two years’ experience in a cross dock/fast-paced warehouse machine operator role
• Operate counter balance forklift safely and effectively
• Previous unloading and loading of multi temp trailer is an asset
• Ability to read and understand BOL's and order bill documentation
• Experience stacking different types of materials, including boxes, pallets, bins, etc.
• Experience working with frozen and refrigerated freight
• Positive attitude and personality, courteous manner, and flexibility
• High-attention to detail
• Consistently reliable and dependable
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Safety-first work style
