We are looking for a mechanic on the road, ready to get their hands into the engine (and hit the road!) to keep lifting equipment running smoothly.
Your mission? Tame the temperamental machines: prevention, repair, testing—you are the mechanical hero! If your toolbox is your best ally and you dream of making each machine as reliable as a Swiss watch, put on your boots—the adventure begins now!
Tasks
- Examine and assess the condition of equipment.
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnostics).
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment after intervention.
- Determine the parts needed for repairs or maintenance.
- Order the required parts to complete the work.
- Fill out the documents related to your responsibilities (work orders, inspection reports, etc.).
- Perform all other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in industrial mechanics.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems (a significant asset).
- Experience in repairing lifting equipment (a plus).
- Good technical knowledge of the company’s equipment or products (a plus).
- Must have a car.
Desired profile
- Available to occasionally travel to Montreal, Trois-Rivières, and Gaspésie (5%), with the rest of the work being in Quebec and its surrounding areas.
- Autonomous.
- Detail-oriented.
- Resourceful and able to take initiative.
