About the role
Carlino, a Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant located in the Hyatt hotel, is seeking a Sales & Events Manager to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for developing, selling, and executing private dining experiences and special events to maximize revenue, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the guest experience. The ideal candidate is sales-driven and detail-oriented, with a strong presence both strategically in planning and hands-on during execution. With a passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial mindset, the Sales & Events Manager will elevate Carlino’s visibility, optimize private dining opportunities, and deliver unforgettable events that drive repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Plan, sell, and execute private events to drive revenue and foster strong guest relationships.
- Expand the client base by marketing Carlino’s private spaces to local businesses, hotels, and event planners.
- Coordinate event contracts, pricing, profitability analysis, and scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to create tailored menus and seamless event experiences.
- Provide on-site oversight for events, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain and grow client and guest profiles, actively building brand awareness through networking and community engagement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in event sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Sales-Driven: Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Proficiency in Tock, SevenRooms, or similar reservation/event platforms preferred
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
