Helping to bring the transformative power of the arts to all. The Kingston School of Arts (KSOA) has been proudly serving the arts community for over 30 years, providing high-quality arts education and engaging experiences to every member of our community. We are committed to fostering an inclusive arts environment, ensuring accessibility for all ages and skill levels.
We are seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors.
About the KSOA board We believe in the transformative power of the arts and are looking for people who want to help strengthen the organization. The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight of the organization's governance. We work collaboratively to ensure the organization remains financially sustainable, accountable, and aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
Who should apply? Kingston School of Art is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all facets of our programming and operations. We welcome applications from qualified applicants of all sexualities, races, gender identities, socioeconomic statuses, and (dis)abilities. Previous board experience is helpful but not required.
Individuals with experience in governance, fundraising, finance, marketing, community outreach, law, human resources, business, or the arts are encouraged to apply.
Most importantly, we are seeking people who care deeply about community, creativity, and the impact accessible arts programming has on people’s lives.
