Job Description

• We are searching for a Program Manager who has strong engineering and account management skills. You will take ownership of your customer(s) and will be able to grow within the role. This is all about building and nurturing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for new products and technologies, providing commercial and engineering solutions, managing your programs and working with the manufacturing facility.
• You will be driving your own programs and initiating new program launches. Providing leadership and driving all aspects of product development will be a key part of your role. You will be leading cross-functional teams to bring conceptual design to production. Being accountable for overall financial P/L of projects and ensuring customer deliverables and program timing are met are crucial to your success.
• Location is commutable from Lexington or Louisville, Kentucky.

Qualifications Key Skills Include:

• Experience working with plastic products and systems for interior and exterior trim and structural products
• Specific customer experience: ideally VW or Mazda
• Commercial / Account Management experience - you will be the single point of contact for the customer for engineering, quality and launches.
• Automotive plastics manufacturing and tooling
• Resin: Nylon, TPO, and/or PC/ABS
• APQP and PPAP
• Engineering degree preferred, will also consider manufacturing and business degrees
