Job Overview

**Position Schedule:**Full-Time

The Corporate Actions team plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of mandatory corporate actions across markets. This position supports the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate action events-ranging from event announcement interpretation to entitlement posting and reconciliation-within the firm's investment operations infrastructure. The associate acts as a key liaison between custodians, depositories (such as CDS and DTC), counterparties, internal business units, and clients. They are responsible for ensuring entitlements are accurately calculated and paid, elections are properly captured and submitted, and all corporate actions are handled in accordance with regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership by proactively identifying discrepancies investigating root causes and escalating with context and resolution in mind

  • Communicates clearly and consistently, keeping stakeholders informed of even status, exceptions, and outcomes without prompting

  • Able to prioritize and manage competing deadlines across multiple corporate action events and processing workflows with a high degree of accuracy

  • Approaches reconciliation and even control with rigor, treating data integrity as a core responsibility

  • Identifies process gaps and contributes to operational improvements through structured, solutions-oriented thinking

  • Experience processing corporate action events including mandatory and voluntary reorganizations

  • Working knowledge of GIC products and fixed income processing workflows

Skills/Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Strong reconciliation skills with ability to identify and resolve breaks across systems and accounts

  • Experience with event control processes and ability to monitor, validate and escalate exceptions in a timely manner

  • Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation for operational reporting

  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools to build and maintain dashboards that support operational oversight

  • Ability to translate raw operational data into meaningful reporting for internal stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over data integrity and process accuracy

  • Works effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining independence and accountability in day-to-day execution
