Senior Change & Communications Consultant
About the role
Our client, one of Canada's leading banks, is looking for a Senior Change & Communications Consultant to support the successful closure of a major enterprise transformation program focused on records management and information governance. This role will lead change communications, stakeholder engagement, and transition activities to ensure a smooth handoff to business-as-usual operations.
Contract: 3 months (ending October 30, 2026)
Hybrid: 1 day onsite per week (Thursday) + every 4th Friday of the month Location: Toronto, ON Key Responsibilities include the following; Develop and execute change management and communication strategies for enterprise initiatives. Create stakeholder communication plans, messaging, presentations, and executive updates. Support program transition activities and drive business readiness and adoption. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout program closure. Apply change management methodologies, including ADKAR, to support organizational change. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and communication sessions. Identify opportunities to improve communication processes and stakeholder engagement.
Must-Have Skills
3+ years of experience in enterprise communications, change management, or program delivery. Experience supporting enterprise-wide transformation programs. Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and change adoption. Hands-on experience applying ADKAR or structured change management methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Banking or financial services experience. Degree or diploma in Communications, Change Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience supporting records management, privacy, or governance initiatives.
