About the role
Job Summary The ABAP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing SAP solutions. They work under the supervision of the ABAP Team Lead and in collaboration with functional analysts from various modules such as MM, SD, FICO, WM, CAR/POSDTA, EWM and HR.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, test, and deploy SAP solutions in accordance with established practices
- Participate in improving existing applications and ensuring their maintenance
- Provide expertise in projects
- Produce technical documentation
Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in ABAP programming
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong understanding of programming concepts
Experience with database systems and performance optimization: HANA, CDS, OData
Knowledge in development:
- S/4 HANA, ABAP OOP
- Reporting – Smartforms, Adobe Forms
- Report – Selection screen, Complex ALV
- Extension – BADI, Userexit, BTE Enhancements
- Interfaces – IDOC, BAPI, WebServices, Proxy
Experience with cloud technologies and SAP Cloud Platform services – an asset
Experience with modern SAP development frameworks like SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 – an asset
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to work and strong customer orientation
Good interdepartmental collaboration skills
Ability to multitask
Strong time management and prioritization skills
