Key Responsibilities
Lead crews in the safe and efficient execution of construction activities. Actively participate in field construction, including planning, execution, quantity verification, and quality control. Communicate upcoming project needs to the Superintendent, including manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. Coordinate daily work activities based on project priorities and schedules. Supervise the safe and effective use of equipment, tools, and machinery. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Wilco's high-quality standards. Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedules. Train, mentor, and develop crew members in accordance with Wilco procedures and safe work practices. Foster a positive team environment built on accountability, communication, and safety. If you're an experienced Foreman looking for an opportunity to join a growing company that values leadership, invests in its people, and offers room to grow, we'd like to hear from you. Proven experience as construction superintendent or foreman, civil preferred. Must possess strong leadership/mentorship and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of equipment operation. Strong numeracy skills, record keeping and technology usage. Ability to read and execute plans, read grade stakes and use laser level. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Work Unsupervised with a 3-5 person crew. Have advanced knowledge of the fundamental principals of landscaping including grading, planting and hardscape. Promote a positive team culture across all departments and job sites with a focus on safety first and continuous improvement. Valid drivers license.
