Job Description

As an IT Manager of Enterprise Applications, you would be responsible for the strategic oversight, operational management, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, with a primary focus on the IFS ERP system. This role ensures that our CLOUD-based best of breed ERP solutions (IFS, UKG) align with business goals, support operational efficiency, and enable digital transformation across the organization. In addition, this role provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.

What would you be doing?

  • ERP & Enterprise Systems Oversight - Lead the alignment of ERP and enterprise system architecture (e.g., IFS, UKG) with organizational goals. Oversee daily operations, development, and long-term maintenance of core business systems.
  • Strategic IT Leadership - Define and implement enterprise-level initiatives including Master Data Management (MDM), Business Intelligence (BI) strategy, and change management programs to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Team & Platform Management - Manage and guide the Enterprise team in designing and customizing software platforms. Ensure data integrity, real-time dashboards, and actionable KPIs that empower business units to achieve their objectives.
  • Systems Administration & Governance - Oversee ERP systems administration and coordinate with managed service providers for incident resolution and service requests. Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies, including participation in the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation - Act as a key technology sponsor and consultant to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation including IT policies, system architecture, user manuals, and change control records. Support system upgrades, installations, and data conversions.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in an IT-related field; IFS and ITIL certifications are considered assets.
  • Proven experience with IFS Applications (APP10 or CLOUD), UKG UltiPro, Oracle databases, and full software development lifecycles. Strong understanding of ERP systems, relational databases, and business process implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and lead process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments in a multi-stakeholder environment.
