About Your Workplace
Our Professional Service Department is a dynamic, customer-centric team dedicated to delivering exceptional service experiences for Miele’s professional clients. We specialize in supporting medical, laboratory, and professional laundry disinfection equipment, ensuring uncompromising standards of reliability and performance. Driven by a commitment to excellence, we play a pivotal role in upholding Miele’s reputation by providing innovative solutions and building strong, lasting relationships with our customers and service partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain professional appliances at client sites (hospitals, labs, dental offices, restaurants, universities, etc.)
- Perform assigned services and repairs, including testing, documentation, and ordering parts
- Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics; disassemble components for troubleshooting
- Maintain company-provided tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a field environment
- Participate in special projects and domestic/international travel as required
What we are looking for
- Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic technology, Mechanical systems, HVAC, or major appliance repair
- Minimum 2 years of experience in installation, repair, or maintenance of commercial, medical, or laboratory equipment (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Solid computer literacy for diagnostics and reporting
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders up to 28 ft
