Career Opportunity Acura Pickering, is looking for professional full-time Service Support Staff member to join their automotive dealership. The Service Support Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles through the service department and providing a positive experience for service customers. This position is responsible for organizing and moving vehicles, preparing them for servicing, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, and assisting with customer interactions in a professional and courteous manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are organized and moved efficiently through the service area.
- Assist in receiving and delivering customer vehicles in a timely and safe manner before and after service.
- Greet customers in the drive-through area and receive their vehicles for servicing.
- Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate service area or drive-through.
- Perform basic inspections of all vehicles entering service, including documenting any damage, inoperable parts, or other issues.
- Record vehicle conditions and ensure proper documentation of any discrepancies.
- Assist in cleaning vehicles and ensuring they are fueled and ready for pick-up by customers.
- Provide courtesy car washes and vacuum services for all service customers and loaner vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot, drive-throughs, and outdoor areas to ensure they are free from litter and debris.
- Safely catalogue and store vehicle keys according to dealership protocols to ensure easy access and proper tracking.
- Provide shuttle or valet services to customers, ensuring they are transported to and from the dealership as needed.
- Complete necessary documentation, including loaner car contracts, and ensure proper vehicle handover procedures are followed.
- Assist service advisors and team members with tasks as needed, including directing customers to the correct areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the service department's efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum OSSD or equivalent
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service environment is a plus but not required
- Valid G license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
