What the job involves
- ScaleMath is hiring a Staff Writer and Editorial Lead to work directly with the founder and help drive high-leverage initiatives across the business
- This is not a traditional "writing-only" role
- You’ll be involved in content and editorial work, but you’ll also jump into partnerships, sales support, client calls, messaging, positioning, internal projects, and whatever else the business needs
- The common thread is: you’re a high-judgment operator who can own work end-to-end and ship high-quality outcomes
- This role exists because our current internal “right hand” is becoming a bottleneck
- We need someone with the same level of written English ability and attention to detail to share the load and help ScaleMath move faster without lowering standards
- Writing and editing high-quality content (including founder-led content)
- Improving messaging, positioning, and narrative clarity across the business
- Reviewing and polishing important documents, emails, and customer-facing assets
- Supporting partnerships: outreach, coordination, follow-ups, and deal flow
- Joining client and partner calls where strong communication matters
- Supporting sales efforts with copy, decks, follow-ups, and materials
- Owning internal initiatives end-to-end (research, execution, and delivery)
- Acting as a force multiplier for the founder and the team

- Work that used to bottleneck now ships consistently, without quality dropping
- Our content, messaging, and outbound feels sharper, clearer, and more “ScaleMath”
- Initiatives move forward because you proactively push them forward
