About The Role
Consultant Operations Manager manages and motivates FDM NA Consultants, assigns them roles within the pod relevant to their practices / assignments, and supports pod owners and coaches in the management of the pods, helping to troubleshoot issues, aiding in resource management, addressing escalated performance issues of consultants and providing effective guidance.
Keeps abreast of developments likely to impact the projects such as consultants’ availability, changes in technologies, policy, input from Sales/clients, requirements/constraints, etc., introduce and plan the necessary updates accordingly, acts as the contact point for consultants and for all key stakeholders inquiring about consultants, and should be able to act proactively to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
Skills Lab Focused Responsibilities:

Oversee the beached orientation process and setting clear expectations including addressing any concerns from clients or sales side and tracking consultants’ adherence

Allocate consultants to scrum teams and assign them roles based on their practice or assignment

Mentor new members, assess and plan their training needs to make sure they can add value to the projects
-
Gather coachs’ feedback based on pod technical assessments, analyze the trends, and organize training sessions to close the gaps

Coach, mentor, and make sure ConOps track projects status and report to Skills Lab management, sales, and service delivery
-
Escalating any risks or concerns identified in the pods to upper management
-
Actively manage consultants employee group in office and remotely to foster a positive and professional environment

Communicate relevant updates to training community

Perform role of Pods Management SME at client meetings if needed
Cross Departmental Responsibilities

Regularly communicate and partner with key stakeholders on consultants’ updates and escalate cases requiring more discussion

Accountable for successful delivery of weekly NA consultants’ calls

Create, liaise and regularly review all consultant operations processes as sales requirements change
-
Manage NA Consultant Operations team to ensure accurate and timely information is presented and accessible when needed
About You
Essential Criteria
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in the relevant field
- 3+ years of experience within a learning delivery organization on a large and complex scale in a fast-paced working environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience leading consultants projects using Scrum Framework.
- 2+ years of experience either in the IT industry.
- Proficient in using Microsoft 365 including MS SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Planner.
- Experience managing teams including resourcing, developing and retaining people within engaged and high performing projects.
- Experience managing a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external).
- Organized, with a structured and calm approach to problem solving and a delivery focus.
- Understanding of best practices in learning environments and a deep understanding of new media in learning tools.
- Dynamic personality with high energy and collaborative in nature.
- Strategic thinker with ability to lead change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) or Professional Project Manager (PMP)
