We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Packaging and Hygiene Solutions team in St. Catharines. This role is key to ensuring safe, reliable operations across our plant while supporting ongoing improvements and growth.

This Monday-to-Friday day shift role is based at our St. Catharines plant, with occasional after-hours or weekend calls as needed.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Certified Industrial Millwright preferred; other trades (pipefitter, welder) considered

  • 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience; chemical/process industry experience is an asset

  • Knowledge of Ontario OHSA regulations; strong commitment to safety

  • Experience with pump maintenance and pneumatic systems (preferred)

  • Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to work with Windows-based systems (Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP an asset

  • Knowledge of electrical, welding, and confined space entry (preferred)

  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) as required

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times

  • Maintain and repair plant equipment promptly to minimize downtime

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections (pumps, hoses, pneumatic systems)

  • Assist with equipment change-outs, capital projects, and site upgrades

  • Troubleshoot issues, determine corrective actions, and implement repairs

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to resolve equipment problems

  • Source replacement parts and materials, and manage records in SAP (work orders, purchase requisitions, inventory)

  • Communicate equipment status to plant personnel verbally updates, logs, and written notices (e.g. email).
