We are seeking a Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng) who wants to see their projects move beyond calculations and drawings—into fabrication, testing, and real-world operation.

What Will You Do?
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide engineering leadership and technical oversight for pressure equipment and packaged systems, including:
- Pressure vessels and separator packages
- Storage tanks
- Shell-and-tube heat exchangers
- Packaged skid systems
Your work will directly influence safety, quality, constructability, and cost.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Review and develop mechanical designs, specifications, and calculations for pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, and equipment
- Support cost estimates in collaboration with Project and Sales
- Engineer pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers in accordance with ASME, API, and ABSA requirements
- Act as the primary engineering liaison with ABSA, ensuring regulatory compliance through engineering and fabrication
- Review client data sheets, specifications, and project documentation
- Optimize equipment engineering and designs for manufacturability, performance, durability, and cost
- Evaluate materials for pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance, and service suitability
- Review and coordinate vendor documentation across engineering disciplines
- Support procurement with technical input and material selection
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Generate design, calculation, and progress reports for internal and client use
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation required
- Experience in design and fabrication of pressure equipment within oil, gas, or petrochemical industries
- Strong working knowledge of ABSA and ASME codes (B31.1, B31.3, Section I, IV, VIII Div. 1 & 2)
- Experience with shell-and-tube heat exchangers
- Proficiency in pressure vessel and tank design
- API 510 considered an asset
- Familiarity with metallurgy and welding practices
- Experience with PVELite and NozzlePRO preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
