  • Familiarity with infrastructure and security tools such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), HPE Aruba solutions (including AirWave and ClearPass), Backup (Veeam), and Fortinet security is essential.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure management, particularly with Brocade/Ruckus technologies, is also required.
  • Ability to work within a small local IT team composed of the IT Analyst, two technicians, and the Coordinator, while also collaborating with a broader multi-site IT community to share expertise, align practices, and support larger institutional initiatives.
  • In addition to your specialization field, be comfortable working in a generalist infrastructure role where priorities vary — from cloud services and endpoint management to user support and operational improvements.

About Champlain Regional College

Higher Education
51-200

Champlain Regional College is the only English-language college with multiple constituent colleges serving three administrative regions: the Montérégie (16), the Estrie (05), and the Capitale-Nationale (03). The Québec Government defines the College as a single corporate entity, which the Board of Governors respects when dealing with issues of governance and finance. However, one of the College’s greatest strengths is the Board’s appreciation for each constituent’s distinct culture and traditions, and recognition of their unique circumstances and needs.

Each constituent college offers a unique and rich experience to its students based on its particular history, culture, and traditions. While each constituent college is based in an administrative region, it is important to note that Cégeps have “open borders” and serve all regions of Québec. For example, our St. Lawrence and Lennoxville constituent colleges regularly welcome students from the eastern regions of Québec such as the Côte Nord and Gaspésie.
