CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Taber Christian High

School is a grade 9-12 school. Our 17 staff members provide service to

approximately 130 students in the town of Taber, Alberta. Our mission is “to provide a Christian

educational environment which uses biblical teaching to prepare all students to

reach their full potential, so they can serve God and others with a Christ-like

attitude”.

Regular

School Administrative Assistant

– approx. 31 hours/week

Hours of work include Monday – Thursday 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

& Fridays 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The Administrative Assistant at Taber

Christian High School serves as the first point of contact for students,

parents, staff, and the broader community. This role is essential in creating a

welcoming, organized, and efficient school environment. The Administrative

Assistant supports daily operations through strong organizational systems,

effective communication, and the management of the school’s Student Information

System (SIS).

The successful candidate must be student-centered,

team-oriented and possess the following traits and qualifications:

  • Post-secondary training in Office

    Administration or comprehensive experience in the field.

  • Strong organizational and time

    management skills with attention to detail

  • High level of professionalism,

    discretion, reliability and confidentiality

  • Excellent interpersonal and

    communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in technology, including

    Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems (SIS experience

    preferred)

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in

    a fast-paced school environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and

    initiative.

  • Aligns with the values and mission of

The division is divided into 14 Subdivisions for purposes of representation on the Board of Education.
