Position Overview
TAC is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our marketing, programming, and digital storytelling efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning raw footage into compelling video content and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on sports, youth development, and community impact.
The Video Editor will work closely with TAC staff to create engaging short-form and long-form videos that capture the energy, values, and experiences of our programs, events, camps, and training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for marketing, social media, website, and internal use
- Transform raw footage from programs, events, camps, and training sessions into polished, engaging videos
- Add music, captions, graphics, transitions, and basic visual effects as needed
- Ensure all video content aligns with TAC’s brand standards, tone, and quality expectations
- Collaborate with TAC staff to understand content goals, timelines, and project priorities
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a self-directed, part-time schedule
- Organize, label, and maintain video files and assets in an efficient, structured manner
- Optimize videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) when applicable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing (professional, freelance, academic, or portfolio-based experience accepted)
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
- Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for pacing, detail, and visual flow
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Experience editing content for social media platforms is considered an asset
- Interest in or passion for sports, youth development, or community-based programs is a strong plus

TAC Sports specializes in teaching soccer (recreational and academy), tennis and basketball to children age 4-15. Located throughout the GTA, TAC Sports provides a safe and comfortable learning environment where children can improve their skill and feel more confident about themselves.
With a low instructor to student ratio, students receive personalized development plans and constant feedback throughout the program. Our unique team of coaches provide a nurturing and fun environment which will ensure that your sports star is excited about coming back.
