The Associate Claims Bordereau Analyst supports the accurate and efficient processing of broker and MGA claims bordereaux reports, contributing to the evolution of automated claims data processing across Sovereign Claims. Working under close supervision of senior Claims team members, this role plays a key part in ensuring claims data quality, system accuracy, and alignment with Claims growth and automation strategies.

###How you will create impact:

  • Supporting the validation and processing of broker and MGA claims bordereaux submissions across all provinces (excluding Quebec).

  • Support and assist with creating and maintaining bordereau tool templates to ensure required data and formatting standards are met for successful uploads.

  • Ensuring data quality and accuracy of claims and reserve information, including investigating discrepancies and partnering with external contacts to resolve missing or inaccurate data.

  • Supporting brokers, MGA partners, and the Sovereign claims team with the upload of large volumes of claims data.

  • Partnering with internal teams to support upload tools, process documentation, testing activities and automation enhancements.

  • Support Sovereign Claims team with additional data management and data quality tasks, as assigned.

  • You are open to continuous learning and contribute ideas that support process improvement and automation.

###To join our team:

  • College diploma is required; education in a related business or analytical field is preferred.

  • 2–4 years of experience, preferably within the insurance industry.

  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate level or above) and the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data accurately.

  • Understanding of commercial insurance and the role of Claims within the insurance lifecycle is an asset.

  • Experience supporting claims processes, automation initiatives, or process improvement activities is an asset.

  • This role requires sustained concentration and accuracy when working with detailed claims and financial data.

  • You will work with confidential information and must exercise discretion and sound data governance practices.

  • You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

  • This position will operate on a hybrid work posture which will require an in-office presence of at least twice a week.

Expected salary/hourly range $50,280 - $83,800

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Sovereign in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
