About the role
Join a dynamic online show as an actor for a comedy sketch filmed in Vancouver. This is a single-session opportunity with the potential for future collaboration. The role is ideal for a seasoned performer who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and can deliver engaging comedic performances on set. The project requires on-site presence in Vancouver for a focused 1–2 hour shoot. Only local talent will be considered, as travel is not supported for this role.
Responsibilities
- Portray a comedic character in a scripted sketch, bringing energy and authenticity to the performance
- Collaborate closely with the director and production team to achieve the desired comedic tone
- Participate in brief rehearsals and adapt quickly to direction and feedback on set
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality throughout the production process
- Contribute to a positive, creative atmosphere during filming
Skills And Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in comedic acting, preferably for online or video content
- Strong improvisational skills and the ability to deliver lines with timing and nuance
- Comfortable performing in front of cameras and working with small production teams
- Must be based in Vancouver and available for an on-site shoot lasting 1–2 hours
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently within tight timeframes
