About the role
Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Bakery Supervisor to join our Bakery team on a full-time basis at our location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Bakery Manager, this leadership role is key to delivering exceptional member and customer experiences while supporting the daily operations, team coordination, and overall success of the Bakery Department.
What you’ll do:
- Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
- Support the Bakery Manager in leading and coaching the team to maintain a productive, positive work environment.
- Assist with daily operations including production, inventory management, receiving, stocking, and cleanliness.
- Help achieve sales and margin goals through efficient planning and execution.
- Actively work on the sales floor alongside team members, leading by example.
- Assist with administrative duties and performance management of the bakery team.
- Support training and development, encouraging a culture of respect, teamwork, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Food Safety standards and maintain accurate sanitation and temperature logs.
- Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
- Be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- You have completed Grade 12 or bring a combination of education and relevant experience.
- You have previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
