Check links and content prior to the start of the course, update resources as needed, communicate with students regularly, mark assignments, monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, manage and review exam submissions as required, finalize official grades.

Plan/facilitate the delivery of a learning program or course at Community Paramedic level: providing tutorial, counseling assistance;facilitating labs, skill practice; evaluating course/program and result of teaching process; and revising/maintaining curriculum.

Develop and maintain community/agency partnerships.

Manage the learning environment.

Ability to travel.

Ability to facilitate distance learning using the Brightspace LMS.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Description
Required Qualifications
-
Completion of an ACP (Advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school.

Completion of an Advanced Certificate Community Paramedic program from an approved school.
-
Current license with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics, that includes 3 years minimum Community Paramedic endorsement.

Understanding and ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the Community Paramedic knowledge and skills.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.

Demonstrates valuing diversity.

Preference given to candidates with previous experience facilitating Community Paramedic education.

Must have working knowledge of instruction with Learning Management System Brightspace.
Desired QSA
Baccalaureate degree in a related field of study
