Job Summary
The logistics coordinator will be responsible for the timely & efficient planning of inbound and outbound freight to meet our customer needs. The successful candidate will mitigate risk & maximize value through cost reduction, avoidance evaluations, engagement & coordination with customers and carriers.
-Essential Job Responsibilities

Work with carriers & freight forwarders to obtain daily inbound ETA’s
-
Maintain ETA reports of inbound shipments (DI & DM) & disburse to internal & external stakeholders
-
Arrange return of empty containers back to the shipping line.
-
Close DI orders in system upon delivery.
-
Update DM inventory in system upon delivery.
-
Send weekly open order report to customers

Process all CBSA deductions
-
Work with carriers to obtain competitive rates
-
Ensure minimal compliance infractions
-
Audit and/or dispute and compliance charges
-
Continuously review/improve processes & procedures
Required Qualifications

Analytical skills (proficiency in analyzing data & identifying trends)

Effective communication skills
-
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
-
Team player with strong organizational skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Takes initiative & has a strong sense of urgency.

Technical skills (proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications )

The expected base salary range for this role is CAD $20-$22 hourly. Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the position. This job posting represents a current opportunity within the company.
