Job Summary
The Research and Business Development Officer will support the development and implementation of research and business development initiatives at the University of Toronto.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance research and business development.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify funding opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and reports for funding agencies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in research administration or business development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a university or research environment.
- Knowledge of funding agencies and grant application processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other Relevant Details
- This position may require occasional travel.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
