Financial Controller needed for contract role in downtown Calgary!
Agilus is recruiting for a Financial Controller in the post-secondary sector in Calgary, Alberta. Our client is actively hiring for a Controller to join their team ASAP for a 6-9 month contract. Perfect person for this role has their CPA, leadership experience, and is looking to get started in a new role right away.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all financial tasks including reporting, auditing, compliance, and budgeting.
- Overseeing the finance team – ensuring objectives and goals are met, providing direction.
- Cash flow forecasting and maintaining charitable status.
- Financial statements, general ledger, and maintaining the capital projects in the finance system.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, and people leadership
- CPA completed
- Leadership in a finance role that interacted with stakeholders
- Available for full duration of the contract
What's In It For You
- Pay rate: $60/hour - $75/hour (based on years of experience and requirements met)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (full time in-office)
- Location: downtown Calgary
- Contract duration: 6 – 9 months
