Maintenance Execution Lead

Contract Worksite Leader 📍 Lloydminster, SK (Onsite) 📅 Contract Duration: August 17, 2026 – August 16, 2027 ⏰ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week Compensation: T4 Employee: $53.00–$56.00/hour + 4% Vacation Pay Truck Allowance: $22.00/hour in addition to hourly rate About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Contract Worksite Leader to provide site leadership for routine turnaround (TAR) and major maintenance activities at an operating facility in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. This role requires a highly professional, safety-focused leader who excels in contractor coordination, maintenance execution, stakeholder engagement, and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance teams, vendors, and site leadership to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate standards and objectives. Reporting to the CHO Senior Maintenance Coordinator, the Contract Worksite Leader will play a critical role in ensuring maintenance activities are executed successfully from planning through close-out while promoting a strong "One Team, One Goal" culture. Key Responsibilities Safety & Reliability Leadership Lead and coordinate maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Oversee Safe Control of Work (SCOW) processes, permits, and safety requirements. Ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational standards. Report and investigate safety incidents in accordance with company incident management processes. Conduct Line of Defense (LOD) assurance activities and monitor critical safety barriers. Support safety audits and ensure procedural compliance during maintenance execution. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Work Management Participate in daily planning and notification meetings to review work priorities, risks, and resource requirements. Validate vendor work completion and ensure accurate updates within Salesforce. Confirm and close work orders in SAP and Salesforce with complete documentation. Support backlog reviews, schedule development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure work management processes are followed throughout execution and close-out. Maintenance Execution & Vendor Coordination Monitor work progress and validate completion against planned milestones and PM compliance requirements. Coordinate maintenance contractors and serve as the primary site contact for vendors. Review and facilitate risk assessments for routine and high-risk work activities. Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular updates on major maintenance activities impacting production. Support field execution activities and perform hands-on tool work when required. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in turnaround, maintenance, construction, or planning within the oil and gas industry. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance work, complex projects, and construction activities. Strong understanding of work management, turnaround execution, construction processes, and maintenance close-out activities. Experience with Safe Control of Work (SCOW), Asset Risk Management, and Line of Defense (LOD) assurance activities. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building skills. Proven ability to work effectively across multiple functions and contractor groups. Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of industry practices, codes, and standards. Experience using SAP and Salesforce for work management, cost tracking, work order completion, and reporting. Contractor management and stakeholder coordination experience. Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processes. Required Certifications & Pre-Employment Requirements This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
