Endress+Hauser Canada was founded on May 1st, 1990. The company's main office is in Burlington, Ontario and additional offices are in Montreal, Quebec, Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta. Our Channel Partners and Authorized Service Partners provide coverage and support across Canada.

We are looking for a Contact Sales Representative who can provide a high level of customer support. Using consultative selling techniques with customers (as defined within the contact sales account package) to identify their complete needs and applies the entire product basket as applicable. Ensures systematic and conscientious customer service to the defined portfolio and is directly responsible for sales development in the assigned portfolio.

What is the role about?

Are you able to ensure effective communication with customers? This role involves being the internal contact for customers on the defined account package, interacting with them by phone and email, with occasional personal meetings to maintain solid relationships and meet their needs effectively.

Can you think strategically to identify and meet customer needs? You will apply the consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and requirements.

Are you passionate about customer satisfaction and business growth? This position is for you! You will help identify substantial growth opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Which tasks will you perform?

Internal contact for customers in the defined account package (typically tier C&D) Applying consultative selling approach/techniques to establish needs of the customer to apply the appropriate Endress+Hauser solution of products and services Customer interactions primarily by phone and email Time to time, in person customer meetings, as needed (1-2 days per month) Supporting activities specific to reactivation of inactive accounts, growing new customers , and cross selling of current customers in conjunction with Sales Development Rep team Account portfolio development to drive to target Handling of RFQs, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders and active follow up of same Transition with Regional Sales Manager and Project Sales Manager for larger projects uncovered through scouting Understanding the customer needs and requirements including technical and commercial clarifications Define and complete negotiations as required and within own responsibility Maintenance of the customer master data Manages complaint management with own portfolio Preparation and submission to the customer any other materials requested Promotes Endress.com and supports Customers with any online inquiries.

What do we expect from you?

Post-secondary technical education in engineering, instrumentation, process control, automation, or electronics 2-3 year of Inside Sales experience in the Instrumentation field or a similar role is desired Excellent communication skills to work well with diverse individuals, groups and with internal & external customers Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines Comfortable to make own decisions at transactional level with customers Bilingual (French / English) is an asset.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 CAD annually
