Who We Are

Chrono Aviation was founded in Québec City in 2012. At the beginning, the airline operated a single Pilatus PC-12 and employed just two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.

After a decade of operations, Chrono Aviation has grown its fleet to 12 aircraft and employs nearly 200 people. Chrono is a Québec-based charter airline offering aircraft that can accommodate from 9 to 189 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montréal and Québec City, Chrono continues to expand and strengthen its position as a leader in the air charter industry in Québec and across Canada.

Role and Context

The Air Operations Coordinator ensures the smooth day-to-day running of all flight-related activities by maintaining communication between departments and managing operational challenges to ensure seamless flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities before, during, and after flights

• Serve as liaison between pilots, flight attendants, maintenance, and flight dispatch

• Manage unexpected events (delays, crew changes, weather conditions)

• Document incidents and operational adjustments

• Ensure compliance with SOPs and the CARs

• Participate in daily briefings

• Manage communications with stations and airports

• Support ground teams when needed

• Contribute to improving operational processes

• Maintain a high level of coordination in critical situations

Position Requirements

• Education or experience in air operations or logistics

• Solid knowledge of the CARs and SOPs

• Experience in operational coordination (aviation or logistics)

• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment

• Proficiency with communication tools and planning systems

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Availability for variable work schedules

• Fluency in French is required for this position. In addition, strong English proficiency is also required to interact with English-speaking clients in Canada and abroad.
