Chrono Aviation was founded in Québec City in 2012. At the beginning, the airline operated a single Pilatus PC-12 and employed just two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.
After a decade of operations, Chrono Aviation has grown its fleet to 12 aircraft and employs nearly 200 people. Chrono is a Québec-based charter airline offering aircraft that can accommodate from 9 to 189 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montréal and Québec City, Chrono continues to expand and strengthen its position as a leader in the air charter industry in Québec and across Canada.
Role and Context
The Air Operations Coordinator ensures the smooth day-to-day running of all flight-related activities by maintaining communication between departments and managing operational challenges to ensure seamless flight operations.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate activities before, during, and after flights

Serve as liaison between pilots, flight attendants, maintenance, and flight dispatch

Manage unexpected events (delays, crew changes, weather conditions)

Document incidents and operational adjustments

Ensure compliance with SOPs and the CARs
-
Participate in daily briefings
-
Manage communications with stations and airports
-
Support ground teams when needed

Contribute to improving operational processes

Maintain a high level of coordination in critical situations

Position Requirements

Education or experience in air operations or logistics

Solid knowledge of the CARs and SOPs

Experience in operational coordination (aviation or logistics)

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment

Proficiency with communication tools and planning systems

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Availability for variable work schedules

Fluency in French is required for this position. In addition, strong English proficiency is also required to interact with English-speaking clients in Canada and abroad.
