About the role
Who you are
- We are seeking a Senior Software Developer experienced in C++ and C# development within on-premise or cloud platform development environments who can provide hands-on technical leadership in new product development and maintenance activities
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering complex, large-scale, public-facing applications and APIs
- We are also seeking someone with solid knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation tools and concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Extensive experience in C++
- Experience working in a large code base
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres)
- Successful delivery of a large-scale public-facing application
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps
- Experience developing cloud applications in Azure
- Experience developing applications in C++, C# and .NET
- Bachelors Degree
- 4+ years of experience in software development

- Developing on Avigilon Unity Video Products to be used by security professionals around the world
- Building trust among team members and mentoring to champion a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Participating in defining and executing the direction for build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation
- Providing end-to-end software solutions, encompassing design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support
- Fostering strong collaborative relationships with fellow developers and technical leadership
- Proactively providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Upholding rigorous standards for software development and quality, both personally and across the team
