Technical Lead – IBM i / AS400 Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 Days Onsite) Duration: 6-12+ Months Required Experience: 8-10+ Years Key Skills: IBM i (AS400/iSeries), RPG, RPGLE (Free Format), CL/CLLE, COBOL SQL/Embedded SQL, DB2 for i, ILE Architecture Batch Processing, Job Scheduling, Production Support MQ, Web Services, System Integrations Technical Leadership, Code Reviews, Estimation & Delivery Management Telecom Billing Domain (Billing, Rating, Message Processing, A/R, Ordering) Responsibilities: Lead IBM i/AS400 development and support initiatives. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance RPG/RPGLE-based applications. Perform impact analysis, solution design, and technical documentation. Guide development teams, enforce coding standards, and conduct code reviews. Collaborate with Business, QA, Operations, and cross-functional teams. Preferred Tools: RDi, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Implementer (MKS), Hawkeye, PKENCRYPT/PKZIP Note: Candidate must be eligible to apply for GoC Clearance.
