About the role

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Officer is responsible for the overall financial management of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual budget process.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget.
  • Provide financial advice and support to department heads.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Experience in a higher education environment.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA).
