Parking and Sustainable Mobility Services ensures that University parking policies, regulations, and decisions embody the principles of fairness and consistency. In regards to sustainable mobility, we seek to study, communicate with, and advocate for, sustainable mobility initiatives for all stakeholder groups. We focus on the different roles of stakeholders at the University and the different modes of travel they use for commuting. The department is a self-funded unit generating resources for facility maintenance, mobility initiatives, and future transportation projects while contributing funds to the University.
About the Role
The position provides financial, administrative, and clerical assistance to the Parking & Sustainable Mobility Services department by preparing and processing work orders, cheque requisitions, journal vouchers, business and travel expenses, and budget transfers. Bills and invoices internal and external clients based on reports provided by the Office Supervisor, Parking Coordinator, and/or Director. Prepares bank deposits and budget transfers. Reconciles department revenues and expenses to bank statements, internal financial systems, external payment processing, and internal and external invoices related to both revenues and expenses. Produces reports for all department revenue and expense accounts. Assists in providing data to the Director for the general financial operation, review, and budgeting of the department.
