The ideal candidate will provide short-term counselling services to employees of client organizations facing personal, family, or work-related challenges. - Engage in solution-focused therapy, supporting a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns.
- Utilize a strength-based approach to empower clients throughout the change process.
- Address a variety of issues including risk, addiction, relationship difficulties, parenting, family conflict, grief, aging, depression, and anxiety.
- Deliver exceptional clinical services while embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning.
- Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model.
- Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Work independently within a shared office space alongside experienced clinicians.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
- Membership in good-standing with professional order or College
- Certified or extensively trained in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and, or Narrative Therapy.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of post-master's clinical experience, supporting all client groups.
- Experienced with diverse & complex concerns such as couples, family, risk, and addictions.
- Proficient with Office Suite, digital communication, and case tracking.
- Experienced in utilizing performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and optimize service delivery.
- Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities.
