About the Opportunity

Infinite Outsourcing Solutions is hiring a Shipping Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics sector. We are seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/French) leader to oversee shipping operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading frontline teams, ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and Shipping Associates. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities. Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and employee development. Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.

Shipping Operations Coordinate manpower, schedules, and workflows to ensure efficient shipping operations. Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Monitor shipping performance, productivity, and service levels. Collaborate with Production, Inventory, Receiving, and Transportation teams. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions. Support inventory accuracy and equipment utilization initiatives.

Safety, Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Conduct workplace inspections and proactively identify hazards. Promote a strong health and safety culture. Ensure shipping and warehouse procedures are followed consistently.

Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels. Support process improvement initiatives and operational projects. Assist with implementation of new equipment, systems, and workflows. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Qualifications Required Bilingual in English and French. 3–5 years of supervisory experience within shipping, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments. Food manufacturing experience. Proven leadership experience managing frontline operational teams. Strong understanding of shipping, warehouse, and loading dock operations. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience in a unionized environment. Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule Flexibility is required to work: Days Afternoons Nights Weekends as required
