Job Details

This is a term position from September 1, 2026 to June 24, 2027, or until return of incumbent.

Teacher assignment includes English 12, English First Peoples 11 and 12, and Social Studies 11 in Semester 1; and English First Peoples 11, History 12, and English First Peoples 10 in Semester 2.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $68,492 to $118,751 with the placement on the range based on the category assigned by the TQS, and length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Qualifications

  • Successful secondary classroom teaching experience.
  • Knowledge of, and willingness to use, current best practices in education.
  • Familiarity with the BC Curriculum.
  • A strong team orientation.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • A desire to grow professionally.
  • Clear criminal record.

All applicants must be eligible for certification in BC through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch.
