Hiring: Talent Acquisition Coordinator – 6 Month Contract
I am currently partnering with a Canadian Bank to find a talented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join their People, Culture & Branding team. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing the critical details that turn a candidate into a new team member.
The Role As a key member of the Post-Offer team, you will act as a bridge between the offer stage and Day 1. Your primary mission is to ensure a smooth, accurate, and timely transition for incoming talent. You will be responsible for requisition management, offer letter generation, and guiding candidates through the background screening process.
Position Details Duration: 6-Month Contract, no extension Location: Fully Remote (Open to candidates across Canada) Work Hours: 9am–5pm EST preferred Compensation: $20-25/HR
What You’ll Be Doing Process Management: Execute the end-to-end post-offer process, including offer letter generation and tracking, ensuring all requirements and reviews are completed accurately. Operations & Systems: Manage requisition assignments in Workday within defined SLAs, ensuring data integrity and resolving system issues as they arise. Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for internal and external partners, maintaining clear communication with hiring managers and candidates to keep them informed and engaged. Compliance: Oversee background screening clearance and follow-up activities to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
What You Bring Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in recruiting, sourcing, or HR operations (or a relevant postsecondary degree). Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook) and Workday. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working within the Financial Industry (FI). Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, solve problems analytically, and collaborate effectively within a team. Independence: A proactive work style, capable of managing your own time and priorities effectively in a fully remote environment.
