Resident Experience Coordinator - Integris
About the role
1. Position Summary and Job Magnitude
The Resident Experience Coordinator is responsible for supporting both front‑of‑house operations and leasing functions within the community. This role includes providing exceptional customer service at the front desk, assisting residents and guests, monitoring building access, and ensuring a welcoming and well‑managed lobby environment. In addition, the position is responsible for successfully filling all bedrooms at the property, generating new traffic of prospective residents, conducting tours, completing leasing tasks, assisting with roommate matching, and supporting resident relations. The Resident Experience Coordinator also attends after‑hours events related to resident engagement and community programming.
2. Essential Functions and Basic Duties
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents, guests, and prospects.
- Assist residents with general inquiries, package handling, amenity bookings, and service requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby and front desk area.
- Monitor building access and uphold community policies to ensure a safe environment.
- Support community events by helping with setup, promotion, and resident engagement.
- Respond to resident concerns with empathy, professionalism, and timely follow up.
- Communicating with all assigned leads for potential new residents
- Using every tool possible to close leads and convert them into a resident on the property
- Touring the prospect, virtually or in person
- Cold calling, texting and emailing all leads
- Thinking of new ways to generate traffic and close leads ie. Promos or giveaways
- Answering all emails that come into the office with professionalism and sincerity
- Handling all resident complaints in a timely manner with the highest level of customer service
- Answering the office phone in a timely manner and responding to all inquiries
- Completing roommate matching for move ins
- Inspecting rooms for new residents moving in
- Creating all move in packages as needed
- Assisting with move out and quarterly inspections
- Posting on social media platforms as required
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized work space
- Keeping appraised of the competition to stay ahead of local market conditions
- Schedule and attend weekly external and on campus marketing events
- Assisting in the coordination of monthly resident events
- Other duties as assigned
Health & Safety
- Works in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures and reports any contraventions to their supervisor.
- Uses or wears the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Integris Student Living requires.
- Reports to the appropriate supervisor(s) any hazards, missing or defective equipment or protective device which could endanger any person.
- Does not engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct.
- Reports any risks or potential risks of violence or harassment encountered in the workplace immediately to supervisor.
- Knows, understands and implements safe work practices and procedures and employs established rules and procedures for handling materials, equipment and processes (e.g. Reporting unlabeled containers, using proper lifting techniques, etc.)
- Requests that worn out or defective equipment be replaced, when appropriate.
- Uses equipment and materials only in the manner intended.
- Reports any injuries, incidents and unusual conditions immediately to supervisor.
- Inspects the work area and equipment daily and reports any hazards immediately to supervisor.
- Attends all required health and safety training programs (e.g. WHMIS, orientation), and applies knowledge to daily operating procedures at Integris Student Living.

4. Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills/Abilities: Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Must possess basic computer skills
Must possess the ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures
Must possess basic math skills
Must be punctual and dependable as hours may vary and include weekends and holidays
Must be self-driven
Must be able to take direction from supervisors
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year experience in similar role an asset

**Physical Requirements:**Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, extend arms and hands forward and overhead, finger and grasp.
Must be able to lift and carry up to a minimum of 15lbs. Must have record of good vision.
