About the role

StandardAero is seeking for a Kit Process Coordinator.

The kitting process involves gathering and organizing all essential materials and components required for a specific task or project.

This encompasses:

  • Identifying the necessary items.
  • Bundling them together in a kit for convenient access and utilization.
  • Coordinating with various departments and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of component repairs, subcontracts, exchanges, and parts orders to meet designated kit dates for each engine. Maintaining and optimizing kitting procedures to ensure the efficient preparation and distribution of fully kitted units, thereby enhancing workflow efficiency and minimizing errors.

As a Kit Process Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop, publish and maintain the kitting schedule,
  • Implement corrective actions to schedules when dictated by changes in product delivery dates.
  • Act as a liaison between production, engineering, purchasing, sales and customer service to control, and adjust the kitting schedule.
  • Advise management of the status of engine kits in progress, material availability and routine production problems to ensure that, equipment, and materials are provided as needed.
  • Maintain kitting tracking systems to ensure it accurately reflects current forecasts, job-flow and monthly throughput.
  • Monitor pacing items and follow up and expedites directly with various parties.
  • Establish methods to meet kitting schedules and coordinates activities with other departments and/or sub-contractors to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor work in process to ensure it conforms to instructions, contract specifications, production and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper placement of routed and purchased components onto the engine kit trays.
  • Generate kitting measures of performance and recommends operational improvements.
  • Provide input to kitting planning policies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
  • Facilitate with all internal functional group to keep kits on rack.
  • Carry out special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of planning and record management
  • Experience working or managing projects.
  • Experience in process improvement Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making, leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning and control. Experience in administration/records management and/or a technical role associated with technical documentation.
