If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter — and build a career with a company that’s building North America — we want to hear from you!  ABOUT THE ROLE The Ready-mix Business Manager has direct responsibility for the plant sites including safety, environment, operations, sales, maintenance, inventory management, performance, quality, financial performance, employee relations, plant’s image and community relations. They are a professional who understands the value of planning and processes and takes a disciplined approach to execution, while working closely and effectively with safety, environment, sales, credit, and customer service, performance, finance and Human Resources.   WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Safety & Environmental Stewardship: Establish and uphold environmental policies and safety cultures as a site priority, ensuring all Amrize best practices and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded. Operational Excellence: Provide direct oversight of plant activities—including processing, storage, and shipping—to ensure optimized workflows and best-in-class cost management. Commercial Management: Maximize concrete sales volumes and selling price in a competitive market environment, by developing and implementing commercial plans and strategies and leveraging sales tools. Asset Management: Maximize plant up-time and equipment longevity through the effective utilization of Amrize maintenance programs for both fixed and mobile assets. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products remain within specifications and exceed customer expectations by implementing robust quality control processes and production best practices. Financial Performance: Achieve annual revenue targets and manage site budgets/forecasts, balancing raw material costs with market demand. Performance Tracking: Utilize KPIs, financial statements, and Performance Efficiency Reviews to identify variances, establish action plans, and drive continuous operational improvement. Strategic Planning: Develop operational and capital plans (CERs) to improve productivity and maintain a competitive cost advantage. Team Leadership: Manage the full employee lifecycle for direct reports—including recruitment, development, and performance management—while fostering a safe, productive, and proud work environment. Inventory & Supply Chain: Manage site inventory requirements through tight coordination with suppliers, accounting, and performance teams. Corporate Representation: Serve as an official Amrize representative within industry associations and community events, upholding the company’s reputation as a good corporate citizen. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

  WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation: Post-secondary education, under graduate degree in related field (Business or Engineering)Required Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisor role and 3 to 5 years in sales roles.Required Technical Skills: SAP, Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Command AkonTravel Requirements: 20%   Additional Requirements: 

Good working knowledge and experience in concrete and aggregates. Good communication skills. Strong supervisory skills. Analytical abilities. Good interpersonal skills. Mechanical understanding of related equipment. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
