Job Overview
We are seeking an experiencedDatabase Administratorto manage and optimize on-premiseOracle Autonomous Database (Oraas),MongoDB, andBig Datasystems, with a focus onmodernizingthese databases to private cloud solutions. This role requires strong expertise in database administration, high availability, migration strategies, and cloud-based database services. Candidates with hands-on experience in Starburst, Iceberg, or Databricks are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimizeon-premise databases (Oraas,MongoDB,Big Data).
- Implementhigh availability,disaster recovery, andperformance tuningfor both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Developbackup/recovery strategiesand ensure compliance with security standards.
- Automate database management tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead database migrationstoAWSandGDP Database Services, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Monitor and managecloud resources inAWSandGDP, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful cloud migrations and integrations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience withOracle Autonomous Database,MongoDB, andBig Datasystems.
- Expertise inhigh availability,disaster recovery,performance tuning, andcloud integration.
- Strong background inmigrating databasestoAWSandGDP.
- Proficiency inPL/SQL,NoSQL, and cloud resource management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills."
