Mileage Auto Plus is a growing independent automotive repair facility located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

We specialize in European vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche, while also servicing a wide range of Japanese and North American vehicles such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, GM, and Chrysler.

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys diagnosing complex issues, and values working in a clean, professional shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and driveline
• Conduct electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and quality control
• Support and mentor apprentices when required
• Reflash modules

Qualifications

• Licensed Automotive Service Technician (or equivalent certification)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Experience with European vehicles is an asset but not required
• Experience with Japanese and North American vehicles welcomed

Technical Skills

Experience with:

• Engine diagnostics and repair
• Electrical and electronic systems
• Brakes, suspension, and steering
• HVAC systems
• Alignment and driveline components
• Imported and domestic vehicles

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
